Standing out from the bland anonymity of most similarly scaled multifamily developments, SALT’s landscape design offers residents a layered, leafy retreat.
A Lush Garden to Escape the City
SALT worked closely with architecture firm NAKADA+ to make the most of a constrained urban footprint. A 5,300-square-foot courtyard, criss-crossed by striking elevated walkways, created an opportunity for outdoor space to act as the project’s centerpiece.
SALT used vertically stacked planters and carefully layered species to achieve an extraordinary density of planting in a small space—making the landscape a unique and memorable amenity for residents.
Spaces for Every Mood
The landscape supports group gatherings as well as solitary moments. The layering of vegetation allows residents to be surrounded by greenery at all times, whether seated poolside, relaxing by the fire pit, or moving across walkways.
Fire pit areas are shaded by dense canopies and native understory species to form intimate, cocoon-like spaces. In contrast, pool deck areas are framed by greenery but remain sunny and open.
